Meet the Team

Jim Gubler MS,PT
Physical Therapist
Jim, a native of Utah, was raised in the Salt Lake area. He studied at BYU and the University of Moscow, in Moscow Russia, and then finished his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah in 1997. He continued his studies at the University of the Pacific in Stockton California, graduating in 1999 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.
In 2001, Jim opened his first outpatient therapy clinic in Zanesville Ohio with his focus on helping people with pain conditions of the spine. The clinic was well received and he soon found himself managing a large clinic with 19 employees. In 2007 he partnered with a chiropractor and started Zanesville chiropractic and physical therapy.
Having a desire to live closer to family, he returned to Utah in 2010 where he continued his consulting and working with large companies. He has worked with companies such as Scott’s fertelizer, Longerger Baskets, Zandex, Major Drilling, Utah Power, and Younique.
Recognizing that poor sitting is a major contributing factor to back and neck pain, he has written 5 books and produced 9 videos to help educate people on postures that protect the discs of the spine as well as reducing strain to the muscles and other soft tissues. Jim is passionate about teaching his patients that sitting correctly is not the uncomfortable, rigid, upright postures we have been led to believe.
Jim opened Spine PT to bring all the best physical therapists, that specialize in the spine, under one roof where they could have the one-on-one time with their patients needed to get great results.
